Our client in Dublin city centre have an opening for a Windows Support person with experience of Windows NT and 2003 domains and proven experience of working in an Active Directory environment. Experience of previous AD migrations would be an advantage.
The major activities being completed during the migration include:
Support of NT4 and W2003 domains (including workstation support)
Active Directory and Group Policy support
Demonstrable experience of Active Directory migrations
Strong understanding of Windows Security particularly as it relates to an AD environment
Strong experience in the use of Microsoft Active Directory Migration Tool (ADMT)
Experience of dealing with end users who are not highly computer literate
Essential Skills:
A high level of competency in the following skills is essential
Support of NT4 and W2003 domains (including workstation support)
Active Directory and Group Policy support
Demonstrable experience of Active Directory migrations
Strong understanding of Windows Security particularly as it relates to an AD environment
The initial assignment will be for a period of 3 months
